GET REAL: The Power of Aligned Choices

Session Description:

In high-pressure, fast-moving environments, leaders and learning professionals are often praised for pushing through. But true performance—and sustainable success—requires knowing when to pause, reassess, and realign.

In this engaging session, speaker and strategist Jennifer Meyer introduces the GET REAL™ mindset: a framework for slowing down, centering clarity, and leading from a place of purpose. Blending insights from Agile, emotional intelligence, and human-centered leadership, this session equips attendees with tools to make intentional decisions—even under pressure.

Participants will explore how to:

  • Ground themselves in the present moment and assess real needs
  • Align their actions with priorities and values
  • Reframe urgency and overwhelm in high-stakes environments
  • Make confident, strategic choices that support both performance and sustainability

This session is ideal for L&D professionals, managers, and change agents navigating constant demand and shifting priorities.

Learning Objectives

  • Identify the hidden costs of default urgency in workplace culture.
  • Apply the GET REAL™ framework to reduce overwhelm and realign priorities.
  • Practice techniques to slow down and assess decisions with clarity.
  • Explore the connection between emotional regulation and leadership impact.
