I have a background in illustration and graphic design, which adds effective visual communications that enhances the transfer of knowledge for my courses. I'm a captivating storyteller and champion Karaoke star.

Favorite quote:

For career development: "As you think, so shall you become." - Bruce Lee.

For networking: "Everyone you will ever meet knows something that you don't." - Bill Nye.

For those challenging days when the world tries to intimidate you: "Boards...don't hit back." - Bruce Lee

Are there specific people in the Talent Development space you follow and why?

I am meeting and collaborating with so many incredible people in this space, that I can't single out a specific one, but I will acknowledge that I wouldn't be here if not for LaVeen Thompson (ret.) who suggested this path.

Do you have a lesson you’ve learned in your career you’d like to share with others?

I preach the power of intention and its value in finding your success, but I also want there to be a focus on reciprocity because you can't get there alone.

Do you have any favorite books or resources that you think others would find helpful?
There are too many great books to recommend only one, but I'll advocate a resource for personal development: The Johari Window. It is the best assessment tool I know of.
